New Metro Monument Noticed by Several

Taken July 9 at approximately 4:30 p.m. by @jmellens at the Judiciary Square Metro, National Building Museum exit.

Same van taken by Joe July 11 in the afternoon.

The same van taken by John on the afternoon of July 12 9.

You gotta get up pretty early to beat Unsuck...I saw the same thing, had no camera with me, and hoped someone would take notice. The funniest thing is the sign on the dash. You can't make it out in these shots, but it says something like, "Don't move this vehicle." Well, they got what they wanted. But probably not the way they thought!

I'm starting to think the average IQ of a Metro worker is is roughly equal to the temperature.

I love how the little boy is posing next to the van, as if it is an acutal monument! Priceless!!!

The handicapped parking spot must have been taken.

Must be a new guy. A Metro veteran would have blocked the fire hydrant.

Did he forget to put his WMATA reflective vest on the dashboard? That seems to be the way to get unlimited free parking in the kiss and ride spots. Ah, I guess that only works in WMATA lots.
