Also, not all robberies are really "violent," since if I am standing next to the door of a train and suddenly find I no longer own an ipod, because somebody just snatched it out of my hand - that is a robbery, too. I am sure there are armed robberies, but not all robberies involve weapons - just taking property from a person by "force." The risk that my car is going to get broken into will effect my decision to park somewhere and it would truly cheese me off it somebody messed with my ride, but I would not be in "danger." Some of the "less dangerous" stations have much higher violent crime.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8689506078297112665.post-42805558794302287172010-02-17T15:15:04.545-05:002010-02-17T15:15:04.545-05:00I'm surprised Rhode Island Avenue isn't hi...I'm surprised Rhode Island Avenue isn't higher on that list. When I lived over there and had to use that Metro, it was like walking through a gauntlet. Nothing but men hanging out over there harassing women, kids causing trouble and others up to no good.Golden Silencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17820962013206868422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8689506078297112665.post-83719481562687559842010-02-12T13:13:20.949-05:002010-02-12T13:13:20.949-05:00Honestly I'm surprised that Franconia-Springfi...Honestly I'm surprised that Franconia-Springfield isn't on that list. There's a huge area of brush and lack of lighting as you walk out of the station plus it's near Springfield Mall, which is pretty unsafe in itself. My mom metroed out there and the station manager (shocker that the were actually working, I know) warned her not to walk up to the mall.Kimhttp://talklesssaymore.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8689506078297112665.post-66265077533279313222010-02-12T12:33:33.138-05:002010-02-12T12:33:33.138-05:00It is interesting that a law and order state like ...It is interesting that a law and order state like Virginia actually seems to have law enforcement and order at it's metro stops...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8689506078297112665.post-60129858247921415892010-02-12T11:16:13.512-05:002010-02-12T11:16:13.512-05:00Great reminder of why I live in VirginiaGreat reminder of why I live in VirginiaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8689506078297112665.post-72109568283941364462010-02-11T21:47:31.515-05:002010-02-11T21:47:31.515-05:00PG County, Bitch!

In addition, the elevators at the parking tower are ALWAYS out; usually only one of them is operational at night (two if you're really lucky).Springmoonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04722712475832644861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8689506078297112665.post-17354576966260567202010-02-10T16:31:21.623-05:002010-02-10T16:31:21.623-05:00Hmm, guess now I can brag about using the third mo...Hmm, guess now I can brag about using the third most dangerous station!

Any lawyers wanna explain the difference between larceny and robbery?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
