Apparently, in recent episodes of the TV shows "Criminal Minds" and "24," there have been scenes that were supposedly filmed in the Metro, but to anyone familiar with Metro, were obviously filmed elsewhere.
According to Metro, there is a reason.
"We will not allow filming of anything that is illegal such as jumping a fare gate, eating, drinking, smoking or weapon use," a spokesman wrote in an email. "We also will not allow scenes where the actors run on the tracks or in our tunnels."
Of course, there are movies that really do use Metro, including the recently released "State of Play," starring Russell Crowe (and Metro), and an upcoming film, "Salt," with Angelina Jolie Shaky title, btw.
For more details, the Post ran a story about Metro's filming policies back in April of last year.
