Folks, this has been a popular item, but we're going to give it a rest for at least a little while since Metro's tweets are usually cut off at more or less the same places, making many of the omissions repetitive.

  2. Yellow Line: Trains are sharing the same track between Mt. Vernon Sq. and Pentagon City stations due to scheduled track maintenance. Expectations should be kept low to avoid further disappointment in our crappy service.

  3. Expect us to have never fixed the 140-character problem, causing "Complete the Tweet" to throw up its hands in frustration.

(Honestly I thought CTT would only last a few weeks until Metro figured out how to solve the problem!)

  7. us to blame you for the problems- after all, we wouldn't have to fix the tracks if you all didn't ride the trains. You customers are SO inconsiderate.

  12. us to keep getting worse and worse, the whole while blaming it on a lack of money. And don't worry, if we ever do get dedicated funding expect us to fritter that away too.

  14. Yellow Line: Trains are sharing the same track between Mt. Vernon Sq. and Pentagon City stations due to scheduled track maintenance. Expect the very least when we say we care: flowers, perhaps, but more likely just a card.
