Metro often ignores the 140-character limit on its tweets, and when they do, it presents a tantalizing chance to have a little fun at Metro's expense.

being replaced with horse-n-buggies as part of the Braddock Road Memorial Day maintenance program. We will not raise your transit fees but do expect you to help feed, water and muck the horses as we ride along.

currently run by hamsters and gerbils. If we were in anyway responsible for our actions we might care about service. Additionally, if we needed to care about revenues we might not have shut down the airport and shopping center for a three day weekend.

Metro closes doors on businesses runs roughshod over anything in it's path.
