Normal rail service resumed on the Blue and Orange lines at 4:07 p.m., about three hours after a man was fatally struck by a train, according to a Metro press release.
"A six-car Blue Line train headed toward Franconia-Springfield hit the man at 1:16 p.m. The preliminary investigation indicates that the man was on the tracks intentionally."
Our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
