Gonna take some time off for the holidays, barring some major Metro screw-up. So in other words, we'll be back tomorrow. Hopefully not, but with Metro, who knows?
Keep writing in with your stories and Happy Holidays!
Dear Jackie Jeter, today I waited 20 minutes at 7:45 a.m. (rush hour, in case you forgot) for Yellow and Red line trains. Would you like to explain to my boss why you and your slovenly, lazy employees made me 20 minutes late to work today? I told her it was because Metro, its employees and its union don't care about performing their job responsibilities and don't consider it important to run the trains on time.
Was that racist of me to hold Metro employees responsible for performing their job responsibilities? I'm sure you would say yes.
But hey, at least I had the DC schoolchildren fighting on the platform at Gallery Place to keep me distracted during my wait.
People are car pooling now, Wash Post! I get to work earlier and avoid rush. Who wants to work for managers who are not diverse races> That is why one race and women do not apply at Metro we see there is no fairness and diversity.
Over 700,000 of you take Metro every day. Whether it's a simple tweet from the front lines, a funny photo or story or something more substantial, tell us. Got an idea of something we should do? Let us know. More than half of this blog has been written by riders just like you.

(Just a few more days until I'm off for the holidays, most excited about not having to ride metro daily!)
