Check out the fake Metro station in Marshall Park in Charlotte, NC. Apparently, it's for the filming of the Showtime series "Homeland."
Films and TV shows often eschew the real Metro despite its occasional masterful performance.
Wonder if it's because producers fear being delayed and over budget.

So... metro can make a ton of money lending its location to Hollywood producers... BUT... they dont want anyone to be filmed breaking rules... so this rules out every HIGH BUDGET ACTION MOVIE EVER!!! And yet these bozos wonder why they are cash strapped and come to the conclusion that the only reason to raise revenue is to bump up fares...
Congratulations metro, you've outdone yourselves once again!!!!

also NC is way more favorable to DC in such things. way cheaper to shoot in NC than DC.
