Oh Zooey Deschanel. Your whimsy will be the death of you.
Also, who is that guy in the bright orange vest? I don't see WMATA markings on it.

Was this part of the filming for the Tom Cruise / Lee Child movie? I seem to remember a subway-tracks crossing from one of the novels it's based on...
Did they test her for drugs?

When she had to climb down into the tracks did she not stop and think why it was so "difficult" to get to the other side?

Or did she see a train coming in a few minutes and didn't want to risk missing it by going the "long way"
I hope she loses her job over this. No one should employ such stupidity and laziness. Take the escalators across, like the rest of us.
I thought the kid trying to save his flip flop was stupid!
Did anyone else notice Congressman Waxman there, appearing at about 1:49?

That's not Waxman. He doesn't look rat-like enough.
oh mami yo quiero taco bell ahora mismo!!!
She could have entertained us while she was on that brightly-lit stage. Don't just stand there and wait for help to arrive... SING something!
Apparently she's French. I guess that's how they do it in the Paris metro.

No, it's not.

Though at some rural stops on the regular - non-electrical - train lines, it is.

Boston's Green Line does.

It felt really, really "not right" to do it.
I was going to say that one too. I agree, yes, it felt strange.
but do you actually have to step down into the track well to cross? i seem to recall that the train has steps down and basically the platform is at track level. (and yes it was weird.)
Off Topic: Some MetroAccess riders get "white glove" service

Does that mean a ride with no sexual assault?

i think the non-VIP riders should now send volcanic v/emails to their elected reps and blow up in WMATA's face.

hellonwheelz, you reading this?
They put on white gloves while they finger-bang you.

I see those vans so often in Wards 7 and 8. Are they limos for the welfare crowd?
two questions in response:

do people on disability have trouble affording places other than wards 7&8?

are you stupid or just rude?
Hey, Unsuck. Please make a post about the 3 robbers who got apprehended by Metro riders. We want to talk about that!

What's an interesting angle about it to you? There's a link to the story above.
One thing about those track beds.....it doesn't look that hard to climb back up--until you're down there!
I'm sure she was high on drugs
