Quick Metro! This is an opportunity to bring on a full staff of spell checkers, each with a 100k+ salary! They can spend the next few months or years pouring over stuff like this, and you can always pay for it with fare hikes!

I believe they'll actually require you to take a few courses on spell-checking. I've got source on the inside who says one of the textbooks will be "The Cat In The Hat."

I don't know which is worse: "METROPOLAN" as they show here, or "METROPOLITIAN" as they use in the current version of the rail map. Either way, though, public spelling errors, or even public typographical errors, are a bad thing and make your organization look stupid...
