People are so rude, it's despicable.

I don't care how empty the train is, you lazy f*ck. It's a public transportation system, not your living room.
While I can't say I've hit four-seat coverage, I regularly take 3 seats from the corner spot if the trains aren't full... and to the guy's credit: as great a photo as it is, given that there's no one in the way of the photo so close to the doors, I'd wager the train was far from full.
I don't care if the train is full or not, get your dirty feet off the seat! People sit there!
Really, there's no excuse for having your feet up like that. I'm with the, he's a POS crowd.

I'm less worried about sitting in a seat that someone put their feet on than I am about seats that people piss on.

P.S. I really like the "Info Request Countup" in the top left corner of the site. =)

Yeah! Just come into work later! GEEZ!
If there are no other seats available ask him to politely get up. I run into this all of the time, honestly people need to grow a pair. (excuse my language) Whenever I run into people like this when there is no where to sit I call them out. Most of the time it seems like people like this are capitalizing on the fact that most people will not say anything. In my experience most of them are quite shocked and embarassed when someone does call them out in front of a crowded train. Stand up for yourselves people!

Uh, it's not that I need to grow a pair, Swethog1, it's a matter of the passed out individual being downright rude and having no manners. I too, ask seat hogs to kindly move or to let me sit down so that's not the problem. No manners and being rude IS the problem!
I thought for a split second (before I looked too closely) that the "dog" in the second picture might refer to Mr. Wide Stance there. Dude, it's not *that* big - you can close your legs a bit.
might be easier to just sit on them. 160 lbs applied to the head or chest can leave a lasting impression.
