The way the 'after' is emphasized leads me to believe that WMATA goons broke into the Green Mountain ad exec's home with baseball bats and "encouraged" him to change the message to promote no eating/drinking on the Metro. It's the only explanation that makes sense.
Wow. That was pretty fast. Good job Green Mountain. Anyone there fix escalators?
The AFTER is what really caught my attention. Seems someone wanted to make sure they got the message. Rock!
after a lond commute on metro, the only thing I need is blood pressure meds..

and a psychiatrist, a psychologist, a room with pretty padding and my mommy!
I usually need a couple of shots of Makers Mark or Jameson
Photo was taken in the Courthouse station just past the long escalators.

Right, that's what we want WMATA to focus on, "the right message."

Now do something of substance. Do something to improve rider safety. Do something to reinvigorate the system and rebuild ridership confidence-- you know, big boy and big girl decisions.

It's easy for mewling suits to appear decisive when nothing real is at stake.

my personal motto: there's nothing better DURING a long commute than a cup of coffee.

I hope you all enjoy my ferocious farts
And not BEFORE, because you'll be stranded in the bowels of DC without access to restrooms.
at least they recognize that Metro = long commute

You can't carry a coffee on the Metro but it's okay to carry weapons in your backpack because no one is going to check that!
