This is why we need bench seating- so people aren't trapped against the window by a leg barber.

This is truly unfortunate; more so for his fellow commuters.

Is he at least putting his furry clippings into his shopping bags?

Metro should erect pillory stocks for such behavior…public humiliation would curb such unsavory practices.

When I saw this picture…my stomach turned….then it turned a second time for good measure.

I second Corruption Abound's comment. Why do people think it is acceptable to do this stuff? ("Get off my lawn!" moment ahead...) When I was younger, this type of stuff never happened. I'm not that old, but when did this become acceptable? Did I miss a memo?

Your leg hair can't be THAT long that it has to be trimmed this very second. Same goes for fingernails, eyebrows, etc. You're on the train for maybe an hour. It doesn't have to be done RIGHT NOW. The world won't end if you wait an hour to trim your leg hair/eyebrows/nose hair/fingernails.

i've seen this guy before! he got on at either east or west falls church and was on the whole time i rode to rosslyn. he was directly across from me going nuts with the scissors and i wanted to vomit.
