One to Remember

My commute this morning was not exactly a joy either. Two nonfuctional escalators and a train operator that inched into a station then took a long time opening the doors. An almost-full train at 7 am.

Then again, it was pretty much a normal morning on metro.

Days like yesterday make me wish I had some hard liquor stashed in my bag for emergencies.

I especially liked the one guy on my train (orange line) who forced his way into a 99% full car, swearing up a storm, and then later standing on some poor girl's toes for a good 10 seconds with a nice blank look on his face.

I'm so thankful I had to stay at work until almost 7:30 last night. I mean, I had to stand the whole time on my blue line train from downtown to Crystal City, but hey! I had room to move around and the platform for my "2" minute wait (more like 4-5 but the number never changed) wasn't crowded.
