Where's WMATA's Facebook Page?

Not that many of you were wondering, but here's an incredible story about where it went via All Facebook:

"Logan Ludwig is 13 years old. Like other kids, he likes to play Guitar Hero and hang out with his friends on Facebook. 58 days ago he found out that his grandfather, a decorated police officer of 19 years, was dying of stage 4 lung cancer. Because of a loophole, his employer, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, had denied him benefits and cut his pension from $3000/month to $700/month. Officer Ludwig was forced to sell his home, declare bankruptcy, and live in the basement of one of his son’s homes."

Logan then went on a social media campaign to make others aware. Read the entire story here.

WMATA confirms the clamor created by the story led them to take down their Facebook page.

Can't tell bcuz I'm not a FB user, but it looks like Officer Ludwig has passed away. :-(

Yes Officer Ludwig passed on 14 August 2010. His immediate family as well as his FB family is still asking WMATA to STEP UP TO THE PLATE/do the right thing and honor their original committment.

MAN UP!!!!!! If this were you and your family I'll bet you would change things REAL QUICK WMATA!!!!!! Officer Ludwigs wife cannot even pick up her prescriptions> Are you gonna sit and watch Linda Ludwig get sick also????!!!!!!! We're watching this story NATION WIDE! Within days of Officer Ludwig's death wmata also cut off Linda Ludwig's insurance!! If this is how they treat an officer with a long, decorated career, what will they do next? They opened an investigation on one of Officer Ludwig's sons because of the Facebook campaign! Management needs to sit in time out with their bothers at British Petroleum!!

I am not sure if you will see this message or not but if you do I am respectfully asking you to please review the Paul Ludwig, III Retired Former Police Officer and now Deceased case to assist his family with the unjust situation that they are now having to go through on top of losing there love one Paul III. I'm flabbergasted at this sequence of events. A year ago, if you told me I'd be surprised at anything WMATA did wrong, I would have chuckled in incredulity. but this is shocking.

After posting Officer Ludwig's story on WMATA's FB page, first they blocked us from writing, then they pulled down their page!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THOSE COWARDS???? As of 9/20 853a Officer Ludwig's page has 83,000 friends. Please visit and click like, share it with your friends. After all, there is strength in numbers. Let's show WMATA we are going to win. We will not give up, EVER!
