Even the covered parking garages at Vienna were like this. Even trying to be uber-careful, it was hard to dodge the ice slicks in the South garage that were formed by water dripping through the ceiling from levels above. I got to pay my daily $4.50 but they gave me a skinned knee, sprained pinkie, bent car key and pants with air conditioning in the knee now from when I eventually slipped and fell.
You would think they could put sand down or something considering the leaking sieves that are their ceilings in the garage. And it was about 4pm yesterday, so they had plenty of time to do something to increase safety.
Oh wait, this is Metro, we know their safety record.
They should have taken some from EFC. A pile of Calcium Chloride 5 inches high was doing little all clumped up at the top of the stairs outside of the station. A very efficient spreading mechanism.
