What about filing nails... is that acceptable?
Oops. Meant NO. Don't file your nails on Metro, please.
Do all of your grooming in the privacy of your own home. Clipping your nails on the metro is disgusting and no one wants to see your nasty nail pieces on the seat or floor.
I recently rode next to a young woman who decided train time was the perfect time to paint her fingernails! Forget the polish fumes; what if the train lurched and her bottle of polish spilled on me?
i gave someone a very, very dirty look when I had to sit by her and she was filing her nails.
she put the nail file away and stopped filing.
one very small victory.
Wow, you people are petty
Extremely petty. I can see how clipping nails is gross because they fly all over the place. Or even the nail polish because the fumes are bothersome in a closed spaced. But filing nails? My, aren't you all uppity. I've filed a nail or two plenty of times if it chipped or broke and I couldn't stand the snag. Get over it.
