Jeter's Shrinking Fanbase

(via ATU Local 689's private Facebook page)

2.5 percent attendance trying to get to 4.5 percent!

Low bars are not just for Metro.

Maybe Jackie's members are tired of her schtick, too.

Someone needs to report/investigate about her last election the female who was the election committee chairwoman was locked up for a charge and then worked at the union hall until her trial. Would you say this is not kosher?

I heard the last election for jeter was protested and the voting tally was questioned.
Jeter and her husband should pay out of their pockets for lunch but it will be bought by Union Dues I am sure.
Let me guess. She will take the cheeper route and do the lunch right (maybe a couple pizzas for the dept) because it says 'lunch or dinner' in the post? With multiple shifts where is the incentive for people not on the same shift as the person(s) in their department who already go to attend? Or is there the expectation they will eat when it is not normal for them to be doing so?
I! Really like! To use! Short sentences! And exclamation points! When I write! To my constituents!

Hey, she's running an 88.9% success rate at ending sentences with exclamation points, FTW!

Jackie's target goal was lowered from 80% to 78% last year, just like the lowered expectation goal for Bus On-Time Performance, which WMATA still can't meet -- http://www.wmata.com/about_metro/scorecard/docume...

Old comic strips ended each sentence with an exclamation point or a question mark! It's OK for her to do the same! Isn't it?

Actually, 250-300 folks at a union meeting sounds pretty unwieldy -- I would imagine there's a lot of competition amongst the more talkative attendees for microphone time. What's Jeter's reason for trying to get 500 to show up monthly?

An excuse to give out free pizza??
I sure hope they use a progressive stack. Oh no, they can not! That only is possible if there is some diversity.
Let's be honest There are 300 active members of the union. The remaining 10,700 "members" are compelled to pay dues to support an organization they don't care to participate in.

Members know she is a phony! She is not real! She is biased! She and her husband should not be casting (2) votes on a Board! That should be illegal!@?$#*.

Everyone else will be too busy figuring charging overtime for trumped up reasons to attend the meeting.

Well, maybe not everyone. I don't mean to disparage the 25 Metro workers who actually care.
They will probably buy the free lunch or dinner using stolen Metro funds.

Members don't even go to meetings and sign the book to have some of the union dues free. Some members sign the book and walk right out before the screeming match takes place. I don't think pizza lunch or dinner--or if midnight shift cold pizza is going to it.

Your right Union former employee. I know some who drive 30 minutes or more to sign in that they were present as to get a dues reduction for the year for attendance and then leave.

I would love to see the day that all Union members are represented fairly without exception.

I don't think it's 11,000 members.
