Rider Hall of Shame: If You've Got it, Flaunt it.

From Christina:
My roommate was coming home from work from Dupont Circle Monday night and had to look at this the entire time. What a sight to see. Not to mention a few passengers tried to wake him up, as this was the last train to service Glenmont that night. It's probably safe to say he missed his stop. By the time my roommate got off at Silver Spring, this guy was still in this comatose state. Get it together people. Not only is this ... er... embarrassing ... it's unsafe and inconsiderate.

Down goes Frazier!
They're called consequences. Hopefully when this guy finally woke up and realized he was up the creek, whatever behavior led to this won't happen anymore....
Well at least this guy has an excuse: He's drunk.
Whats the excuse for all the "First Class" Metro Riders who think they can stretch out their legs, and put their briefcase on a second seat during rush hour? Did they pay extra fare or something?

Before floodgates open, I didn't mean to say its ok for him to be a drunk asshole.

I'm just making the point that the sober people being assholes by acting like first class passengers could be worse because they are aware of the fact they are being assholes.
She should apply for the station manager position at metro!

Huh? Don't you mean the guy as he is passed out/asleep? ;-)
Looks like a female
A few months ago I got off at Greenbelt. The driver makes an announcement that the train is out of service. A guy, late teens I'd guess, is on the platform with full headphones, immersed in his own world. He boards. Enjoy your trip to the yard, pal!
a) You don't know he's drunk - could just be really, really tired and just got comfy.

b) It sure doesn't look like rush hour to me. Does that look like a crowded train to anyone?

c) Worse, almost, is the person behind him who's using a seat to hold a bag.

c) thats your typical "FIRST CLASS" metro rider.
So you had to endure looking at his belly for a few stops. Meh. If he was indeed drunk, I'd rather him be on Metro than behind the wheel in that state.

I don't understand how he was being inconsiderate.
He's not drunk, he's just really good at planking.

Hopefully, he finally woke up in the train yard.
The rail manager at metro was was caught drunk on the job for the second time was not disciplined and it was covered up by many officials.

How did your roommate "have" to look at this the whole time?

I see an empty seat facing the other way in the picture!
Or, if she needs to be in the area she's in (I guess if she's in a wheel chair), she could have moved cars (though I'm not sure how long this'd take in a wheel chair, but I assume about as quick as walking, and there's usually enough time to change cars depending on operator).

Funny picture, worth being on unsuck...
but your roommate's complaints are invalid.
