Good question. I was just on the bus where someone had taken a dump on a seat and covered it with a newspaper. I don't understand how someone thought that was ok.

How about this behavior is NSE (Not Suitable Anywhere!)? I’m not sure I understood what transpired. The man and the woman sitting on the inside seat were arguing. Did the woman sitting on the outside hit him? If so . . . wow! Unbelievable! The last thing I would want to do is get into the middle of a fight. While I might (and that’s a big “might”) find out of the woman was okay or try to calm her down, I would never physically put myself in the middle of a fight. What would happen if it got worse? That’s definitely asking for trouble! If the woman sitting on the outside hit the man, she was extremely lucky that so many people where there to help out and separate the arguing couple. I guess I’m a little surprised that no one “turned on her” for hitting the man.

it didn't look like she hit him, but grabbed something from him or pushed him back away from her a little. But it really looks like a snatch to me.

The camera turns away just at the white girl raises her hand to his face, what was she doing? No excuse for his reaction, but did she hit him first?

Nice job by the Metro police or whoever they were.

Terrible job by those few passengers. It's a shame that some people don't know how to behave on public transportation. These folks are a large part of why Metro sucks and I'm glad that UnSuck has been shedding a lot of light on this in recent posts. Everyone likes to blame Metro for everything but when adults refuse to act like adults then you're fighting a losing battle.

It appears to be a catfight (for lack of a better term; no offense intended.)

We don't know how it started because the video doesn't capture that. But the guy is bickering with the lady on the inside and she says "I bet your earrings are fake too."

In response he says "I look better than you. All my girls... all my girls.... all my bitches look better than you."

Real classy on both sides.

It looks to me like the guy is harassing the woman on the inside and actually starts trying to approach her. I'm a little bit confused what happens from there, but to me it appears like the woman is trying to defend herself and the woman on the outside is trying to either defend her or not get trampled in the middle.

Looks to me like the guy is hitting on/annoying the woman on the inside seat and using his phone to take a picture or a video or something, then the woman on the outside grabs the phone and tosses it away. Then he decides to stand over her and get up in her face and tries to swat at her (why she raises her hand).

I don't really care what happened before the video started. Mature, intelligent people would have moved away or ignored someone trying to get under their skin.

What's with the "strives to be like NYC" comment? I've lived both here and in NYC, and the behavior of adolescents in DC is infinitely worse than in NYC.

I really really hate to say this. And I'm sure I'll get a lot of unlikes for writing this. But it looks fake. When are there Metro employees just right outside the door to break things up like this? The only time I see that many metro employees is when I take the metro at 5:30am and they are heading to their job. Does anyone know if all of this really happened or was it just staged? Please don't hate me. And if it wasn't staged, I really have no idea what actually happened but I hope all parties are okay.

I'm guessing this occurred during the late night hours and it is very possible for metro employees and transit police to respond that quick. judging by how long the train stayed inside the station I'd say it was single tracking. Also the station has side platforms, not island platforms. Also (no offense I'm black too) giving the fact that there are multiple black passengers on the train I doubt this was in Virginia, at least not the orange line branch. So I'm taking a wild guess that this is LnEfant Plaza (Upper Platform) or Dupont Circle.... Maybe Gallery Place (Upper Platform). I'm leaning towards Gallery Place though for some reason..

and no this was not staged crazy shit like this happens everyday on metro.

It looked like he was recording video of the girls with a phone. The one grabbed the phone from him and threw it, then he grabbed or hit at her and the other girl got up and started hitting. Towards the end the fighter girl says "show them the recording", perhaps the sheman's, but maybe the other guy's recording, it wasn't all that clear.

i am completely offended I am from NYC and we do not conduct ourselves that way just because NYC in known for being dangerous DC Is way worse most of the people in DC conduct themselves poorly the attitudes are disgusting and there are rarely those type of incidents going on on the mta and the metro employees have bad attitudes 80% of them so please whoever used that title should go live in new york we are definitely different
